Our city is about to be charged $1000's by the county and many in Liberty don't understand that. It is close to emergency time ... the shortfall will passed along in higher sewer rates ... Guaranteed!

As for the remarks by the police chief - I felt they were a little over the top. A congratulations woulda been poignant.

T

After much thought, I decided to respond to the pu...

After much thought, I decided to respond to the published remarks from some on this site. In response to councilman Yates remark about recycling. Why should the county be required to do your job of encouraging City residence to recycle? What do you plan to do by being a City Council member and leader in the community? What have you done in the past to promote recycling?
In regards to what the Police chief had to say about how people are satisified with the voters outcome I wonder if he ever checked out the flaws in the voting system. I had confirmed over 217 names of voters who in a survey either lied or the flaws didn't tell the truth one since I wound up with only 111 votes overall. I know the 217 votes still left me loseing and I congradulate the winner but to make a sarcastic remark about the votes was very unprofessional for the Inside Police Chief who no one can identify anyway.
