Voting Precinct Changes Considered for 2012
The Precinct Development Committee has recommended precinct line adjustments and creation of new voting precincts as necessary due to growth in the number registered voters and district reapportionment to the Pickens County Registration & Elections Commission. Precincts in County Council District 4 (Liberty Area)
The Pickens County Registration & Elections Commission will consider the Committee’s recommendation and hear comments from the public during a special commission meeting scheduled for 9:00AM Thursday, February 16, 2012 inside the Auditorium (County Council Chambers) in the Pickens County Administration Building (222 McDaniel Ave Pickens, SC). The public is also welcome to send comments or suggestions by email, mail, or in person in advance of the meeting.
If the Commission approves the above recommendations, they will be forwarded to the Pickens County Legislative Delegation for their approval.
