"Kyle Stewart, head football coach at Liberty High School, is the 2011 Independent Mail All Area football coach of the year. Stewart, a former Easley assistant, took the Red Devils to the playoffs for the first time since 2005, winning their first playoff game since 1979. Liberty finished 9-3."
