A Liberty teenager has been charged with malicious damage to property and other charges relating to the vandalism of mailboxes in Pickens County.
David Arlin Townsend, 17, of 129 Whitmire Hill Road in Liberty, and Aaron Mikel Key, 18, of 307 Lost Valley Road in Pickens were charged with nine counts of vandalism by the Pickens County Sheriff's office.

This kind of activity has always puzzled me. Even when I was a bored teen, I never thought about driving around hitting other people's mailboxes. I can almost understand the boredom, but not the stupidity.
