Recall: Products Containing Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein


Hydrolyzed vegetable protein is a essentially a fancy word for MSG Mono-Sodium- Glutamate.

This list (below) includes products subject to recall in the United States since February 2010 related to hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP) paste and powder distributed by Basic Food Flavors, Inc.

These items are essentially mixes for chili, mixes for soups, and sauce mix and products that are coated or flavored such as nuts.

All of the following brands and items are affected by an FDA recall announced on March 8, 2010.

You can take these foods back to the store you bought them from for an exchange credit. (NOT A REFUND)
