Graveside services to honor the life of Ms. Hughes will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Liberty Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30 until 10:30AM at the Liberty Mortuary.
Brenda Gail Howe Hughes, 54, of 416 Maingate Drive, passed away, Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Providence Hospital. Born in Easley she was a daughter of the late Odis and Frances Pilgrim Howe.
She was a 1974 Graduate of Liberty High School, where she was Homecoming Queen, a cheerleader, and also played basketball. She was an avid Clemson Football Fan, and also loved to bowl. She worked for the Liberty Monitor for several years.
Surviving are two sisters, Shirley Edens and her husband Kip of Easley, and Sandy Howe of Liberty; her fiancé, Charlie Baco of Columbia; an aunt, Jean Lloyd of Pendleton; a brother in law, Randy Hannah; two nieces, Heather Hannah and Tanya Hodges; two nephews, Shaun Howe, and John Edens; great nieces and nephews, Brianna, Austin, Ellis, Seth, and Alex.
Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
